The buzz surrounding the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus still has many consumers waiting to get their hands on the latest devices. While other competitors like Samsung, Sony, LG and HTC are already working to make their devices faster than Apple's latest smartphone, a new report was released, which deemed the iPhone 6 the fastest smartphone available.

On Oct. 16, Apple made its second-biggest announcement of the year by releasing the brand new iPad Air 2, the iPad Mini 3 and a new iMac that has a retina display, the Verge reported.

With the release of the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus nearly a month ago, figures show the iPhone 6 could see the most successful sales records in its opening month, Forbes reported.

In Pocomoke City, Maryland, the Pocomoke High School freshman class received brand new iPad minis to use through the rest of high school, Delmarva Now reported. The school is still adjusting to the new technology, and students weren't allowed to bring them out of the classroom until finally the school permitted them in October.

Even though larger smartphones or "phablets" have been around for a little while, once Apple launched the new and bigger iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, fashion designers started to think about their pocket sizes, Mashable reported.

A Nielsen Digital Consumer Report revealed in 2013, at least 65 percent of all U.S. citizens had a smartphone device, which is a massive hike from the 44 percent recorded in 2011. With the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus recently being released and recording it's largest first weekend sales ever, smartphone usage is likely not receding anytime soon.

While "bendgate" continues to sweep the Internet because of bending iPhone 6 Plus devices, Apple recently stated it has had only nine complaints about the new phone, the Guardian reported. When considering there have only been nine complaints about bending phones and Apple broke its release-day record with 10 million units sold, the problem might be much smaller than initially thought.
